Knead And Sting is the name of the duo Michael Knead and Alexander Sting. Both artists have become known with releases in the field of Techno and Progressive House. Who thinks, however, that they are producing dance music together is wrong: the Knead And Sting project stands for the collaboration of two musical free thinkers beyond all genre limitations.

Using hardware synthesizers, drumcomputers, sequencers and samplers they create live performances which are mostly improvised and played by hand – like a jazz band would do it. Their music is hypnotic, sometimes melancholic, sometimes experimental, sometimes even inviting to dance to but it’s mostly all about  ambient sound clusters and minimalistic melodies that evolve constantly.
