Knead & Sting is a german electronic music group consisting of Michael Knead and Alexander Sting. The name is a blend of the artists’ surnames. They play instruments like synthesizers, drumcomputers and samplers in a way similar to a Jazz band as free extemporisations. They create spheric, playful music which is sometimes hypnotic and minimalistic and sometimes epic and melodic. They belong to the genres Electronica, IDM and Minimal Techno. Their music is equally suited for listening or for dancing. Both artists are trained studio musicians as well.
