Axel Thesleff
Axel Thesleff is a Finland based musician, born in 1991 in Spain. He started playing piano at the age of 9 and learned about classical music during his childhood.

At the age of 13 he became interested in the personal computer its possibilities to create music. Axel is a natural explorer so he experimented with software and a digital synths. After a period of experimenting and practicing, he finally decided to put his tracks online and started to build a fanbase on the internet.

In 2010, he released his debut album The Waste Land which was based on the poem with the same name, written by T.S. Eliot. The album gathered attention in the alternative electronic music scene and received over 10,000 plays on Soundcloud. He signed a couple of tunes with the Barcelona based label Another Chance and in September 2012 released an EP called “After Sundown” on the Croatian based label Ghost Technology.

Axel built a setup that would allow him to perform his tunes as a live act – with the freedom to improvise and manipulate different elements in his music independently from each other. He then played a few gigs on local venues in Helsinki and soon started working on new material for another release with Ghost Technology. As a result, his “I Said, ‘Don’t Go’ EP” has been released in June 2013 and received high praise from within the electronic music scene.

You Have Love is his first EP on the Germany based electronic music label Tales From The Inside.
